Please bear in mind when being paid in Swiss Francs that UK banks give awful exchange rates, and often take fees as well. In forex and fees you could lose up to 10% on small invoices when converted to sterling.

I'd suggest looking at one of these cards that will let you keep money in CHF for your Swiss expenses, and any surplus can be transferred into GBP at a good rate and no fee, then transferred to your regular account.

If you're paid in cash in Switzerland, then change it to pounds in Switzerland at a bank in town. You'll get a much better rate than at the airport and certainly a lot better than in the UK.
For payments in CHF as cash just cash the money into a CHF account and then use transferwise or revolut to get excellent exchange rates. Far lower cost than using banks in either country.
