Money can be transferred to a Revolut card, but if paid in cash the easiest is to convert to GBP in Switzerland and pay it in in the UK. The saving using Transferwise on the amounts, unless substantial, are miniscule and likely not worth all the hassle.
I was presuming she had kept a CHF account - if not agree with your suggestion 100%.
