The "no balls" thing, that I sadly have to agree with...perhaps it is the decades of remaining "neutral" in times of conflict?

Who doesn't talk about their friends in private? I mean I can't tell my friend to her face that we all know her husband is gay...so I chat about it with my husband.

The Swiss are very independent...but once you engage them and make an effort, things rapidly improve. Especially if you find a common topic... I have a Swiss boss (old school type) who used to ignore me & I thought she hated my guts. Now that she's discovered I like hiking, she brings me maps from her weekend trips and shares photos etc..she now engages me more on any topics at work. Happy I hung in there.
How do you know he's gay? (Just nosy lol)
