Re: Djokovich US Open Ouster/Disqualification?

He hit the ball, in anger, in a direction where he KNOWS there are people standing. He should of course have been disqualified, those are the rules that all players agree to abide by, and the same thing happened to Henman some time ago (https://www.bbc.com/sport/av/tennis/18477343). There is no excuse for such behaviour, it is a bad example and seeing someone get hit in the throat and falling to the floor is general distressing to see for the many millions of people watching.

He also did not stay for the mandatory press conference to explain himself which is also a very poor way to behave and not accept responsibility for what he did. Again, this is a real example of poor sportmanship and behaviour and setting a bad example to his man fans both young and old.

He is an amazing talent, but in combination with his anti-vax (https://www.theguardian.com/sport/20...ination-tennis) and irresponsible COVID behavour (https://www.sportingnews.com/us/tenn...c1p3l9wksc0s3h has brought himself disgrace and is now one of my least favourite major sporting personalities.
I like him as a player and sportsmanship personality. Most of the time he has had impeccable record bar some obvious theatricals when he simulates injuries then few minutes later comes back like there’s nothing wrong. Unnecessary shit he got himself into from sudden foolishness arising from the moment of frustration.
