But Biden DID handle it. Yes, perhaps he could have been more aggressive and more defensive, but I think Biden also didn't want to allow Trump to dominate the debate as he was so desperately trying to. And I think Biden was refusing to allow Trump to turn the debate into a screaming match or to "rattle" him. There is only one way to deal with a bully or a psychopath sometimes, and that is to try to ignore them, because otherwise you're just empowering them. And like Biden said, "This is so un-presidential." Trump saw the debate as an opportunity to try to bully Biden, whereas Biden was clearly trying to have a mature, rational debate -- which is clearly impossible when you're dealing with someone who is neither mature nor rational.
