Well to get a key cut you need to already have a key... and if it's a more modern secure type of lock, it very rarely works out, unless you bring the barrel from the lock to the cutter so he can test it.


If you own the house and it's a new style of door lock, buying a new barrel for the lock might be a lot less hassle.
