I once did a lot of research into dating websites around the world, on behalf of a client (a multi-national dating website).


One of the key findings was:

Men always complained that women lied about their age and/or weight (using a profile picture taken 10+ years ago).


Women always complained that men lied about their marital status... (saying they were single when they were not even separated yet).
