My bunion has not grown back. I think it somewhat depends on what they have to do in the operation and the skill of the surgeon, as well as how the patient behaves post-op and long-term. I saw an orthopedic surgeon in CH last year. He removed the screw that was still there after all this time, as it was bothering me. He was super impressed that the bunion had not grown back after all this time and said the surgeon did an excellent job.

But as I said on the other thread, it's no picnic to do the recovery. I recommend trying non-surgical options if one can.
