| Medix Toujours used to charge me an admin fee for emailing to rearrange appointments, well ahead of time. It was like 15CHF each time (so I stopped going).
As for the corona test. I thought it worked like a normal doctor visit i.e. the costs go to the insurance and the insurance get the money from BAG. If you have a provider where you have to pay upfront, like Assura, then you have to pay yourself, submit the claim like usual then the insurance will refund it. It's not unusual for doctor's bills to have a lot of 'padding'. | |

Normaly a doctor is not needed. The majority of testcenters just test you without any medical consultation. So why a doctor got involved is questionable, since it was clear why he/she was there (email from contact tracing).
Should have been a pretty straight forward process.
