Apparently two health care workers with a history of severe allergic reactions had a reaction to the shot yesterday. They seem to be ok, but now the word is that if you have a history of severe reactions to foods and medicines, the shot is not advised at this time.

It's not totally uncommon, I think - and they have to research this to see if the source of the allergy can be identified.
