Why does anybody without symptoms get a PCR test? An illness so severe the majority of people a need a test to tell them they are ill!
Predictability is worth a lot in our society.

Why do people get on a pill when they know it's not the best for them, long term?

And having antibodies today doesn't say you will have them next week. Plus, PCR validity is so short term, too. That's my main gripe - the data expires too fast to effectively employ any big measures, imho. That's the nature of the beast (non-literally).
