Wait....I am on We Home L and I dont get those speeds. Do you have a different Sunrise modem?

Well the speeds heavily depend on:

1. Are you using a cable or you'll max out way below that on your wifi card (I have a great one in the Macbook Pro and it still maxes at 770Mbit)
2. I have a 2.5Gbit ethernet dongle in the laptop so i'm bound by that rather the 10Gbit max (a 10Gbit dongle is almost 200 CHF) - many machines only have gigabit LAN cards
3. You have to use the correct 10Gbit ethernet port and a suitable quality cable or you can be capped by the ethernet cable speed as well.

I have whatever modem they sent me a few months ago - looks like a Sagemcom one from the info I have. I also had to download specific drivers for my 2.5GB network dongle which support jumbo frames to get > 1Gbit speeds as well on my Mac.
