Ha ha. Thanks for the feedback! Yes, I agree that in certain cars white leather is an absolute 'no no', although inside the usual Suisse noir-mobile I quite like the contrast when it's well done, and when there's a bit of walnut in evidence too.

The Passat ticks all the sensible boxes and is a head over heart decision. Slightly annoying that it just creeps over the 120g CO2 per km threshold that would qualify it for a significant tax break here in Vaud, but can't have it all.
