I love enameled cast iron. Unless someone offers you Le Creuset (I got gifted a non-enameled one that wasnít being used by my mother-in-law) donít bother buying them. I spoke with someone who used hers every day for ten years and now needs to replace it as itís chipped quite a bitónow, ten years is a good run but the reality is that there really isnít much difference in the quality of the enameling on most cheaper pots. Just make sure the handles offer good grip surface. France is much cheaper. Second hand can be goodómany people buy them and then never use them.
