Re: Dutch oven - casserole dish

I have an iron cast one from Aldi's brand ("Crofton"), which costed me 40CHF. I make homestead bread on it, but also cook yummy stews, grandma's style. This is the alternative to the expensive >250CHF brands.
Said that, yesterday i was at Coop's. They have a lot of ware at 50% off. I saw actually a French dutch oven casserole at 75% off (from 200 CHF to 50 CHF). I was very tempted...but i left it there, so it's waiting for the grabs (Coop downstairs in Oerlikon city center).
Best of luck ;-)
I looked at the Aldi one, but it's aluminum, not iron. So probably not as good.

And I went to my local Coop City yesterday but unfortunately they didn't have any interesting offers yesterday. I'll have another look tomorrow (luckily the Federal government considers kitchen utensils are essential merchandise )
