So Corona going away in the year 20002?

Anyone knows the ratio of Vit D3 to K2 that one must be taking? I have a large stock of Vit D3 5000 IU/125mcg. I need to buy Vit K2 to take with it, and I am not sure what dosage I should be buying to go with my Vit D3 stock. I have looked at the various Vit D3 + Vit K2 combined capsules and the ratio varies really widely!

For example:

D3 125msg + K2 25mcg
vs
D3 125msg + K2 50mcg
vs
D3 125msg + K2 100mcg
100mcg (of K2 MK7[1]) would be a good dose to start. There's some indication that at least 45mcg is needed to activate osteocalcin carboxylation. There are studies which show up to 400mcg daily is tolerable over the long term (one year).

I personally take 270 mcg (3 x 90mcg) per day with 5000 (7000 in winter) IU D3.

If you're taking 5000 IU daily, then take occasional breaks (say 1-2 days every 10 days and a week every couple of months) and get a test every year (you can get a simple finger-prick test from an online vendor).

[1] There's another version (MK4) which has a shorter serum half-life and is taken in larger doses (e.g. 1000mcg).
