That's 7 days running with an increase now. R is back up to 1.06 - if that continues then the BR's own criteria would indicate no further opening on the 22nd.

I suspect the Kent mutation is currently mainly to blame, I believe it is something like 50% of new cases and the increase in the R number is about what one would expect if the increased infectiousness is in the 30% to 50% range. The real worry though is the small but increasing numbers of the SA and Brazil versions.
