It would indeed be a shame to throw in the towel now with the cavalry on the way (albeit stuck in traffic).
Isn't there a happy medium of being out, enjoying the improving weather, and just kind of forgetting about sit in meals. Still miles better than that awful winter we've just had.

I think paradoxically the uptick may be due in part to improving weather - good enough that people want to leave their houses but still actually quite cold. But once it really begins to warm we should see a decrease.
