We use Aldi Mobile for visiting friends and family. I think the options system got better now that they automatically renew the option provided sufficient funds are available -- it was a bit of a pain to explain to the grandma that she needs to let me know when she gets an SMS from Aldi that the package is used up or approaching expiration date

Keep in mind that their customer service is just what one would expect from a discounter -- slow and rude -- I had an issue with the mobile app that decided to book the same option twice for some reason, I contacted them about it and the response was that there is no way to cancel AND that the behavior I described is "technically impossible" so I must have pressed the button twice within a few seconds...
