Note, if postdoc is your job description, this isn't even a real B permit, it is a student permit (yes, it's stupid a post doc isn't a student by in the swiss governments eyes it is). This makes it much harder to transfer to a real job because you need to get accepted for a non-student B, but without the rights of an actually graduating swiss student. Basically assume you have the same rights as someone who is not in Switzerland or EU.
