One thing you could look it (but not right now given COVID) are the annual charity rallies in Africa.

e.g. Plymouth Banjul, Budapest to Bamako, Plymouth Timbuktu, etc.

The participants (myself included) are usually more than happy to take donated clothes and other items, and then donate them along the way directly to people.

Years ago, I brought an incubator for a hospital down, which was kindly donated by a client.
That is a fantastic idea. I will keep it in mind, as due to my job, I have a lot of clothes I do not need that are new or worn once.
