Re: Espresso machine recommendations

Our old Jura just celebrated its 21st birthday. At the 15 mark, we sent it back to the Jura-spital for a checkup, cleaning, and replacement of various tubes, etc. The espresso aficionado of the family is pleased with its performance. It takes a bit of cleaning (especially if you are cursed with hard water--you need special tablets and a fiddly cleaning cycle), but I like the Zen-like experience of cleaning a lovely machine. Just like fixing a classic car.
