Depends on the quality:
Parkett / Holzriemenböden
Klebeparkett, („Klötzli“) 40 Jahre
Hartholzriemen / Massivparkett 40 Jahre
Weichholzriemen 30 Jahre
Furnierparkett 12 Jahre
Parkettversiegelung / -Ölung 10 Jahre

third-party liability insurance will pay, if you have one (and you should!).

Put a tape measure next to it and take a photo. Send the photo to the insurance. Some landlords try to get larger patches fixed than necessary. Or at least charge for larger ones.
