I've bought a few things on this site and have been absolutely satisfied with what I got . I don't think those posters who sold things are on the board much but they offered enough advice to give them 10 posts and established some form of credibility.
I've seen some amazing finds on here that go quickly but also have seen how some posters have asked to much for their crappy furniture. As others have said, this site was designed to help expats. Being able to sell your things is secondary and a bit of a reward for participating.
