Re: First Swiss cherries of the season - yummy!

I am happy that my most reliable cherry source has moved from plastic bins to cardboard boxes (with a plastic lid). I appreciate the small steps that various sellers take in reducing plastic.

I'll point out that *most* of the places I buy my cherries just come in a simple cardboard box - this place is just the one where I have confidence in finding them.
The season here doesn't seem to have been as good this year; only one of our usual cherry sources has had any for sale. No sign at all at any of the other places. We've only had 2.5kgs of Swiss cherries this year.

And that one supplier, funnily enough, has moved from cardboard to plastic containers.
