You may continue to work even if you have reached the normal retirement age.

In this case, you may postpone the receipt of your OASI (1st pillar) pension by at least 1 year and by a maximum of 5 years, or you may receive the pension despite being gainfully employed. The AHV contributions you pay after reaching the regular retirement age are solidarity contributions and no longer affect the amount of your pension.

AHV contributions
If you continue to work after retirement, AHV, IV and income replacement contributions will continue to be deducted from your salary. However, contributions to unemployment insurance will no longer be deducted, as you will no longer be entitled to unemployment benefits at retirement age
