A Swiss friend of mine recently thought of getting the cable connection from her living room to watch TV in her bedroom, approached the Landlord and the electrician did it all for her (the distance covered around 14ft.), for as he put it ' only 1000CHF'. The friend lives in Zurich near Kirche Fluntern.

Am relatively new here, so not sure if that's the norm, atleast that's one concrete example I am aware of.
