Unless your skills are desirable or you work in IT, jobs are hard to come by.

But: even if you get a job, they may want a permit already because the impression given is that you are living here already.

Such little things as:
GF's name of the apartment contract with name on letter box.
In our Gemeinde office (local government/council) the attitude to my GF changed completely when they saw she was on the flat contract.

From June, it makes no difference: it only affects working people who should be on "B" permits.

Easy to find a job he he he...
