Re: studies with work permit B

You really need to check with the canton. Basically, if you want to study and word, the cantonal authorities could let you simply extend your current B-Ausweis. That would be for further work-related studies. Otherwise, you would need to apply for a new residence permit to allow you to study full time. (Why?: you have changed the reason for your stay.) However, if you want to keep working while studying, the application for the 15 hours a week while study is allowed only after studying here 6 months. Something to keep in mind. The first step is talking with the university to see if you can study and then with the canton to see what exceptions could be made for you, should you need any.

As for after your studies, well, your reason for staying in Switzerland would no long be studying so you would have to apply for the appropriate permit and meet all the requirements for it.
