Deduction for social security, AHV, is 5.05%, unemployment insurance 1%, pension fund 6-12%, accident/sick insurance around 2%.

You always have to pay your share of 5.05% to the AHV and, dependent on your employer's pension scheme, approx. 6 to 12% to this fund. A generous employer will pay your premiums for unemployment and accident/sick insurance. Make sure these things are cleared before you sign that paper.

Accident insurance consists of a part that covers accidents on the job and a part that covers accidents while your off work, say cycling, skiing, climbing ...

Sick insurance consists of a part that deals with your treatment and a part that deals with your salary while your unable to work.
