Does anybody else find it extremely annoying and ridiculous that IKEA Switzerland doesn't have a website in English? I mean seriously, they have all the same items I'm sure in other english speaking countries. Would it be so difficult for them to have it in english in switzerland as well?
Itís a question of economics. They already do the Swiss site in 3 languages and to go to a 4th would be very expensive to set-up and maintain. Also, if they did the site in English they would probably have to have English speakers to deal with questions. All very expensive. Would it bring in sufficient extra trade to cover the cost and make it profitable ? Probably not as most English speaking people manage it as it is.
