Re: How to get to an English-speaker at Cablecom Customer Service.

I always just asked the CSR if he/she speaks English. Most of the time they say, "A little bit..." and speak perfectly. I think 2-3 times in 5 years they have asked if someone can call me back, which they always have done.

I am in Zurich, and seem to be one of the CC defenders, but I have honestly never really had a situation where they did not come through for me. A couple of times it took a few extra calls, and once where internet was out for 3 days, but nothing more serious.

Good luck and just call back if you don't get what you need the first time.

Apparently, if you can get to a Swiss German speaking portion of the call center, you can request an English speaker.

I had a coworker who spoke German guide me through their phone system to this point, but we did not write down the options he had to choose to end up in this portion of the phone system.

Do you know what numbers to punch in to get to this point?
