I'm unfortunately been on the end of a recently soured arrangement with some friends who run a small company/business in Geneva, where I helped them out.

Alas they have not paid me almost €1800 after providing a series of teaching sessions and while saying intended to pay the relationship broke down and I told them where to put it!

I am however depenedned on the money and wonder is it posisble to raise a Small Claims in Geneva online (or by mail) from France or UK. I am temporarily in France where I agreed to base myself to make life easier getting to Geneva. This has notproven to be the case!


Is it the Office des Poursuites or is there another way of getting yourself heard? I suspect I won;t win, however they need a shot fired across their bows, if you get my drift.

Office des Poursuites is the place for that. But before I would write your "friends" to ask them to pay their due before you get in touch with the Office.

I have but will formally write with a registered leter saying I am demanding full and final payment, otherwise I will take this further and see what happens.
