A word of sagacity in this universe of dreamland. The successful entrepreneur never concentrated on the money he generated, only the success and recognition he achieved. All good entrepreneurs (myself included) have a deep set desire to please and impress omg ive said too much.

He/she must also have a entrepreneurial understanding (i.e. willing to work long hours without any pay for month because we are in it together....just because we want to make a lot of people much happier & healthier).
Is that you or do you know someone who might be interested in co-starting something new? | | | | | Is this more like it?

Most programmers are basically autistic spectrum. Try getting two separate people for this. | | | | | steve wozniak & steve jobs type. It's actually also valid for the fashion industry where the creative needs to be coached by the business guy.

You're speaking about Apps etc.... so sorry for the digression.
Have a different set of questions:
- Do you have any services you were used to back home that you'd love to have ?
- Do you have any regular day-to-day objects that you really enjoyed and miss because you can't find them here ?
- What made your life easier and comfortable that you'd appreciate ?
For anybody interested in starting a serious, honest business, I just keep thinking that there's still a lot to be discovered with the evident, small and simple products we use in daily life.

When you'll be extremely rich, I hope you will give a bit to research centers for rare illnesses and malformations.....

A place for everything Bertrand
Wishful thinking of normal folk imagining, looking for ideas, is a far cry from being rich.
Good ideas sometime start with small stuff.
The second part of the title, I believe, was meant as a smile.
Let's keep it on topic

The quality and customer satisfaction are paramount values to our business. We do not look into fast profit but rather long term relationship with our customers and recognition on the market. We do not focus our efforts on advertising campaigns as such but rather devote ourselves selflessly to our customers. We don't want to burn the bridges behind and good relationship with our dear tennis supporters is crucial to this lucrative business.

A small number are as you describe - Asperger's syndrome geniuses. About 10% of developers plan what their doing, take time to do good work, and produce cost effective, maintainable, extensible, high quality applications. This group often have artistic tendencies, and are able to communicate well with non-technical people. I'm part of this 10% so perhaps I'm biased.
I don't think many people would describe me as "autistic spectrum". Oh - and I making quite a bit now through entrepreneurial activity, on top of my work as a freelancer developer. Working with a bunch of other techies who, somehow, manage also to have quite good communication skills.
We have products in the SAP Security area, and yesterday we were in Walldorf (SAP HQ), presenting our wares - having been invited by SAP to do so. Which was nice. And already looking to be quite a productive session.

| | | | | (Quick hello this is my first post here, I've been lurking using some of the hints and tips here for a while so thanks all...)
In all my years working as developer, I can't say I've come across any of these 'Asperger/genius' types. However there are a large amount of programmers who can't appreciate that not everyone in the company understands what they, the programmer are doing in minute detail and understand all the domain terminology - especially management.
I wanted to start a mobile app development company when I moved to Switzerland last year, but I simply didn't have the contacts (or level of German to make contacts here) to form a company and find clients. Instead, I ended up as a Soul Trader releasing App's for (mainly) iPhone, but also Android and BlackBerry and doing contract development when I can find it to pay the bills - but even this is mainly for clients from England.
