Does anybody have an idea of Business School Lausanne? My question is how jobworthy (in CH or abroad) is it?

Also, how is Thunderbird - the Geneva Branch.

I would like to know about the Executive MBA & normal MBA courses.

I am hearing of these schools for the first time but how about try google to search

my daughter studies at Thunderbird at MBA courses. She says that she actually don't like the quality of study much, but anyway, the work experience means a lot. If you have such - you can attend any courses.

I have a work experience of 10 years now and want to improve on my academics a bit. I hope an MBA will help.

Does Thunderbird have any campus recruitment? If so, how much can one expect as an offer on an average?

The IMD has an excellent EMBA course in Lausanne; Caveat expensive!
The EPFL, also in Lausanne, has a good EMBA course. I have heard about one other private business school (Business School Lausanne or similar) in Lausanne, but have no review about it.

I am an EMBA at London Business School - there are a large number of commuters - we have class every other Friday and Saturday. Most commuters fly after work Thursday night and return Sunday morning. So basically spend two weekends a month in London.

Was in the same position a year ago. St galen was my first choice but then found thats is more for international career ie if u want to move around. Chose in the end Rochester Bern program as it is more heavy in Finance content , and thats something I wanted.
Great program. Needs work ...but you learn . Can highly recommend it. It runs every 2 weeks for Friday and Saturday. I can invite u for a day lecture preview if you like. Let me know.

IMD is the most reputed school for a MBA in lausanne.

HEC/UNIL/EPFL (there are joint programs) would be the second. I am currently doing a management & corporate finance at the HEC. Its a good program, for sure, and carries a reputation.

Not to put anyone down, but BSL would be a lower on the list.

You can get an MBA for as little as 2000 dollars these days. This will not help your job prospects or your learning. Check out the times newspapers MBA lists for quality.

What do you want from the MBA? The piece of paper, job prospects, learning, etc, etc.

There are a number of quality EMBA around that have different formats. Some are 1 day a week, some are weekends and others are 3or 4 days blocks every couple of months. There are also (I understand) a couple of quality distance learning MBA around too, but it comes back to the first question; why do you want an MBA?
