Starting a new business- Cyber Security

I am in the process of submitting my startup business plan to the Swiss government for review so that I can get a work permit and begin working in Switzerland. Iím an American living in Germany and wanting to move to Switzerland to start my company. I plan on starting a comprehensive cyber security company in the Zurich area. I was wondering if anyone could help me with finding funding sources and possible partnerships. Do you know of anyone looking for cyber security professionals to work for them? Please give me your thoughts, suggestions or comments!

It is a great idea. I guess there is a lack of awareness here in smaller companies. However big corporates, banks are fairly aware and has big teams dealing with it.

Are you forming a consulting company or have a specific product in mind?

Hi Kalicharan,

Great to know that. Are you working in a consulting company ? such as Accenture, delloite, kpmg? What is the daily rate that you charge if someone needs a consultant from your company? What is the time line that you need to implement the frame work? Answers of the above will be helpful to pass you recommendations once available.

Regards
SS

Re: Starting a new business- Cyber Security

Considering the post is 6 years old and the OP never ever posted here again I'd say the proposal got rejected by the Swiss authorities. For one thing the idea wouldn't meet the non-EU hiring criteria.

Any way to set up warnings when people try to reopen ancient posts. Probably wonít distract a certain OBI (often banned individual) but it could cut down on these threads.

Re: Starting a new business- Cyber Security

I have searched for a service like this for the home environment but found nothing. I admit my IT knowledge is not great so trying to protect my data whilst having a functional online presence for the family is not easily achieved.

I think there is a need for a service to declutter a person's online presence and unify multiple online accounts and logins. I tried to set up a family account on Google to manage my kids phone and screen time but gave up in frustration. One has an iPhone and the other is too young for an account.
