Flea Markets and Garage Sales Sellers, Zurich (and Possibly Further Afield)

Are there any experienced Flea-Marketeers or Garage Sales sellers who could be interested in selling many new, barely used or well looked after used items on our behalf?

Contact me by PM (private message) for more information and details if seriously interested.

Please note that we are only looking for serious enquirers with proven experience and knowledge of either or both forms of selling. Thanks in advance for the understanding on that!

Dear Sir, If i may... Just wanted to ask you a question... There are many people here on this forum (Including Myself) who are looking to buy a lot of things and are setting up new homes (including myself). Would you not consider selling the items on the forum itself?

Good question and thanks for asking.

I would indeed if I had the time but as there is a lot of it (no furniture by the way), I need someone with experience and a passion for this sort of selling to run with it for me.

There is a famous Flea Market at Burkliplatz in Zurich, almost every Saturday from May till October. Good luck! :-)

Hello Ximix

I'm hoping that you are still on this forum, did you follow through with selling things at the flohmarkt? Do you have any learnings to share?

@Goosfraba: I didn't in the end primarily due to time constraints and was looking for someone with experience and know-how in doing so at the time.

The majority of those items were subsequently sold on Ricardo.ch and which by far was the most expedient method of doing so for me.

Re: Flea Markets and Garage Sales Sellers, Zurich (and Possibly Further Afield)

Thanks ximix, I'm going to give myself a month to get rid of the stuff and sell what's left at the Zurich flea market, I'll document what I learn to help anyone else that might be interested.

There's a french language website that lists all the commune bring and sell events in the geneva/vaud/bern areas - anyone know of how to find this for the German speaking part?

Hi!

Could you, please, give me the link for that french language website?

And what do you think - I could find there some kind of rules for those markets as well?
What and how I can sell there etc.

I'm sure they are referring to this: http://vide-greniers.org/

I have been using this website for 5+ years and it is organized, comprehensive and addicting. It covers everything from the smallest community yard sale, (vide-grenier means to empty your attic), to the giant brocante fairs like the Lille Braderie.

The instruction for singing up, payment per meter, etc. is at the bottom of each individual event.

Thanks for answering, I was just logging in to do so myself. Is anyone aware of a similar site listing events around Zurich?
