Architect / 3D specialist salary in Zurich

Hey everyone .
I'm 30 years old Architect and 3D specialist based in Lausanne .
here in Lausnne the salary for an Architect or a 3D master who speaks no french only Engllish is around 5000 to 7000 chf .
How about Zurich ?
I know in Zurich salaries are higher and the living costs are more expensive .
Again for no German speaker Architect and 3D master who uses all type of Archviz softwares and does photorealistic renders .

Thanks for the review folks :msncool:

Well a quick look on jobs.ch for architects and all ads are in German and the ones I looked at never mentioned English.

Without trying to burst your bubble, but with no German? In Zurich? You will not get a salary as you most likely will not get a job.

It doesn't matter how good your skills are - if you cannot communicate you won't find a job.

Your last posts were double.

So to answer your question, 70% of your current salary from RAV as most likely you will not find a job without German. Happy now?

And this is an open forum, people can answer when and what they like. If you do not like that, use Google to get your question answered

Guys.... But he's not asking that. He's asking about salaries. I don't know salaries in the German part of the country so I can't help on that.

I do know they can be up to 30% more in the French speaking part than in the Italian part.

Also, I wouldn't be so sure life is less expensive in the French part. I think taxes and insurances of all types are more expensive here than in the German part.

To the OP, check Comparis for taxes and insurance costs. Then be happy if you get a salary that is 10-15% more. The fact is there are more jobs in general over there as well.

But you did not reply your nationality, why it is important because the employers by any means (e.g. language barrier) misuse people specially from the developing countries to bring their salaries down.

if you're BIM qualified , around 5k , basically draftsman's earnings.. if you're doing visualisation for presentations : expect much less.

Probably less even with BIM, the market is oversaturated right now and the streets are knee deep with hungry architects.
