Do you know the Agenda of Commune de Geneve?

Hello,
I am a freelance architect in Geneve. I have made a bit of advertisement in local.ch. Yesterday, a lady called me for offering me an advertising place in the Agenda of Commune de Geneve, which is a printing guide, about 40 pages with advertisement, free distributed in the centre of Gevene (as she told me).
Has anyone received this Agenda?or even heard of it?
She told me that it is distributed in September and February....
As I don't live in Geneve(I live in Coppet), I have never hear of this agenda....and I am a bit suspicious of a fraud

Any information would be helpful..Thank you in advance.

An absolute load of rubbish !

You're trying to sell your house building abilities, she's trying to sell her advertising abilities.

TodayOnly: If such a published Guide exists, is it still a load of rubbish?

Re: How to freelance in Switzerland?

Hi Guys,

I would have a question for you regarding freelancing in Switzerland.
I understand that once you are registered as einzelfirma or gmbh or whatever you must pay some % of your income as for retirement, insurances, bla bla bla.

My question is about if you have to pay any fix amout monthly or so to be freelancer. In Spain for example u are obligated to pay from 300-800 just for existing

If this helps you imagine - u have no income and no work for X months u just sit there and cant get a client. - Dark scenario

Many thanks

You do have to pay somthin to the "Ausgleichskasse". It is fixed amount per Quarter. Not possible not to pay anything to the system. You do get this money back in case you did not earn much or nothing.
