Flexible filaments, I would have to see a sample, do you have the software to create the 3d image?
windows 10 had 3d builder in the app store for free, thats a simple program to use, there are several free cad programs out there too. I don't create files, at least nothing complicated, modifying files and simple brackets / boxes etc is about my artistic limit

Re: Want something 3d printed?

if you have time, on your next piece, i'd be interested to see the different stages from post print, to final finished form.

I print at .02 or .03 but it will go down to .007 iirc (mm)

obviously the higher res the longer it takes, .03 is fine for armour, tried printer at lower res .04 / .06 and although it was blistering quick it also failed a lot and needed too much post work.

Re: Want something 3d printed?

One of my printers was down for a while, now its all fixed and running again, so I have some space available for a commission, first come first served, a full armour should be finished in time for christmas (for example).

If you don't want to go the whole hog busts or scaled down is of course doable.

Starwars
Tank Trooper
Shore Trooper
First Order trooper
K-2SO
Battle Driod
R2-D2 (and most variants)
BB8
C3-PO

Marvel
Iron Man Mk 45,46,47,50
War Machine mk2,3,4
Iron Patriot

Other
Robocop (1987)
V.I.N.CENT (the black hole)

Re: Want something 3d printed?

sorry I missed these posts.

I'll print anything if you have the files, I'm not a designer.

Ironman mask weight, not a lot a couple of hundred grams maybe, give or take, for a raw print ironman helmet you'd be looking at 100chf, you'd have to prep and paint it yourself.

I'm booked up now until after christmas, small stuff is ok but no full armour sets etc

Cheers

Re: Want something 3d printed?

Not sure if it was already mentioned here, but there is a cool website with lots of ready models to download:

https://www.thingiverse.com/explore/popular/

I got the support for my headset and xbox controller from that website (then a friend printed for me).
