It is exactly what i told you in post 3, but you kept on and on......
I realise that you helped in that initial post and as I didn't have the Thank You button available to me I believe I sent you a PM to thank you.

I then got confused when you said again in a later post "Which canton you going to live in, here is a federation, each canton has different rules ad regulations...."

I got confused because:
  1. I didn't immediately connect that post with being the same person as earlier. Several people had commented and I lost track of who was saying what.
  2. 2. I mistakenly took it to be a question, and as I had previously said where in the OP I thought the poster had not seen that detail so I answered it. In the hope that I would be given a suggestion or recommendation for a legal advisor, tax advisor or some other professional to contact who would I could pay for the appropriate advice / services.

My confusion lead to me not understanding why you were groaning.

Anyway I've been given the names of different professional advisors to contact now and I'll follow up on those.

Thanks again for the information you provided.

When you sa to be asking to be asking me which canton I wanted to be in I got confused

durn, its annoying that I can't edit my posts to correct typos - as in the last one. bleh.

Hi Ktyak,

I'm in pretty much the same boat you were, and need a recommendation for help to set up the GMBH and/or accountants. Can you share/recommend the ppl you worked with?

Thanks,

I've used these guys before. Very easy, fast, and if you use their suggested partners (for insurance, telephone, banking etc) you get massive discounts.

I also used the same company and have the same feedback (with a caveat re: massive discounts). I am not impressed with their Treuhand/accounting partner and looking for a new one.

Also the following document (Section II) might be useful as it provides an overview of setting up the company, accounting, taxes, payroll etc.
