US co. - branch office questions Aplolgies for the cross-post but I am in desperate need of an answer asap... I'm from the USA and have lived part-time in Switzerland for many winters, without a permit. I have been approached by a Luxury Travel Operator who would like me to set up a branch office (or a SARL or GMBH, whichever benefits them the most) in the Valais Canton, to operate ski and bike tours and trips. I have done extensive research on obtaining the B permit and have come up with varying facts. What is the best way for me to obtain the B permit? The Travel Co. has substantial financial backing, and would make a considerable investment depending on the best option. Is it easier to obtain one with a limited liability company than with a branch office? Thanks very much. |
Re: US co. - branch office questions I used to work in a USA co, that was in the same 'type' of situation. The best answer I can give you is to contact a GOOD lawyer for it. I used VISCHER in Zurich, (believe me its worth the money) dont waste time in wrong info Good luck |
