Arbeitplatz - is this something common in CH?

In some Canadian and US cities there is office space called a "Workplace" where you pay maybe $500/month and it's wide open, maybe 2000 square feet or 200 square meters and you just grab a table and work from the internet provided there. Sometimes there is a coffee machine, fridge, kitchen. Is this something that has been created in CH? I am particularly interested in canton Zug as that's where I plan to live when I move there in the fall. If there maybe some people interested in starting this in Zug, I would also be interested in that also.

Thank you. Neil

Re: Arbeitplatz - is this something common in CH?

hi Neil, I've seen adverts for shared workspace periodically in newsletters like ronorp.ch, so it definitely exists. I've mostly heard about it for media and graphic arts jobs in Zurich, and know of someone who rented a workspace in Seefeld when she was starting out with her own PR shop.

Try googling "Buerogemeinschaft" and Zug. Good luck!

Regus has offices in Zurich, but not in Zug. Is Zurich to far?

Seen something on RonOrp today, apparently there are shared-offices or something on the Steinfels Areal, Heinrichstr. 267a - http://citizen-space.ch/login.html for around CHF 30.00/day

Might be interesting even though it is in Zurich as well
