best business account

Looking for some advice if anyone has any good recommendations for which banks offer great deals.

currently I think post finance offer a great start up account which includes a lot of free additions but would love to know horror stories etc before I dive in.

Also will I need to be registered in the trade registry to open a business account.

Re: best business account

From what you wrote before, you just need to be self employed. Therefore you don't "need" a business account. You can use your personal account, just keep business and personal expenses listed separately in your accounts.

Re: best business account

If you think you might need to use some form of accounting system at some point in the future, look into which banks are supported, it will save youa lot of potential grief in the future. Bexio, for instance, automatically imports transactions from UBS (push) and imports transactions from ZKB and some others if you actively trigger it (pull). Ease of use like this will save you far more money than some headline goodies when you open an account. Just a consideration

Re: best business account

I'm also looking for ideas in this direction. I prefer a different bank to avoid putting all my eggs in the same basket. I actually need a different one for EUR/USD with the best fees.
