Crowdfunding

What is your experience of running a crowdfunding campaign?

I'm currently launching a project for 100-days, not knowing what to expect...

Depends what you are crowdfunding for and on what platform you are crowdfunding. If your idea is good and you have done your research and also chosen a suitable crowdfunding platform, you will have a good response. If not, you won't.

Re: Crowdfunding

There are so many people out there looking for funding, your project will have to be very eye catching to get any attention. I've funded 2 business projects through "Crowd Lending" here and they went very well.

Re: Crowdfunding

Anyone know of a good crowd-funding platform for CH? I'm just starting to explore this for an Idea i want to pursue. This will help me understand if there truely is an unmet need /market for my idea. Local restaruant had crowd-funding - they got about 30 K CHF (High need in our area for this) . I'll stop off an talk to them but they offered little "name plates" on the seats/tables of those who supported (mainly local businesses and families). I'll share what I find, but ahead of that..any platform CH specific/targeted? Its ok if there isn't one, I know that I have to have an awareness campaign and have a couple channels identified for this..so no help needed there. I'd like to initiate by Q3/2019. Any feedback and experiences had would be appreciated.

Re: Crowdfunding

3 Circle Funding is run by a friend of mine, I used them for 2 Crowd Lending projects which of course is much easier to raise cash for as you're paying it back with interest - or at least you will if you are successful!

In my experience, certainly with crowd lending with my projects, lenders were less interested in the amount of interest and more swayed by freebies (cheese and beer in my case).
