Which is the best solution? Contract or Free Lance?
Dear all,
I would really appreciate if you could help me to find the best solution to the following dilemma.
I will move from Greece to Switzerland in April, will be employed there and get a B permit. My partner (we are not legally married) and our son (4 yo) will move as well. We are all Italian, currently all based (also tax wise) in Greece.
My partner has a job with a Greek Company (greek contracts, taxes paid at source) and this Company wants here to continue to work for them.
Now, the dilemma: what is the best setup (contracts, permits, taxation) in order to find the best solution? I mean, she should better become a Free Lance? I guess that with a Greek Contracts living in Switzerland she might be subject to (double) taxation on worldwide income... Plus, since the baby will be officially become tax resident in Switzerland with me, I am not sure how she will be consider from a tax point of view both from Greek and Switzerland.
I hope post is not too long or confused and that hopefully somebody can give me some good advice or direct me to a Tax Consultant expert in international matters.
Thank you in advance
regards
