self employed and online shop

Hi all,

I got my independent permit as hockey consultant/coach
My question is if I am allowed to open an online shop on the side. No big sales but maybe around 10.000-20.000 CHF per year.
Or do I have to apply for extra permission?

The total amount for both will be below 100.000

Are you on B or L? Your last post said you would be changed from B to L.

Re: self employed and online shop

Had my original B changed to L for 5 days and now back on 5 year B as independent.
Paid 300 CHF for L Permits for whole family just to come back 5 days later and pay 130 to change them to B..

While I wrote the migration in February that I am in the process of making a business plan to hand in end March.
(1 month before my work contract expires April 28th and 1 year before my original 5 year B Permit expires)

They still decided to change my B permit to L until April 28th.

Got the L Permit March 27th handed in my business plan March 28th and got my Independent B Permit April 5th....

Re: self employed and online shop

I'm not a permit expert, but I assume if you have the permission to be self employed you can do the hockey stuff and whatever else you want, so long as you're following the laws and paying the appropriate taxes.

Edit - but it wouldn't be a bad idea to double-check with the authorities, given the permit situation you've just sorted out.
