Doing Business in Switzerland

Hey all,

Which is an easier way for a Non-Swiss EU company to establish its presence in Switzerland, A branch office or a subsidiary?

Also, can a Non-Swiss EU company register for VAT in Switzerland to directly invoice their clients based in Switzerland?

Were an Agro-Commodity trading company looking to establish a local presence in Switzerland.

Any help would be deeply appreciated. Thanks!
