Where would be the best places for me to find people interested in metal sculpture?

Hey everyone,
I have been a metal welder and independent artist for a number of years, and I started my own company a few years ago in order to pursue my passion for using metal to make art. I have created a number of pieces over the years, but now I really would like to branch out and start finding like-minded people to connect with. Does anyone else here knew any other individuals/groups who are also involved in metalwork sculpture, or maybe metal-based art installations?

Thanks in advance.

Well, we had Jean Tinguely and Paul Suter but they both passed away and where the metal-art-magic starts these days I have no idea. Maybe following these traces lead you to today's like-minded artists?

As you have a company, do you have a website?

Hi,

I've seen two workshops here in Aargau. One close to Baden (http://www.angelo-rizzuto.ch/) and one close to Bremgarten (http://www.recycleart.ch/)

This place is fab and I love all the mad sculptures, but I've been banned by the rest of the family from buying a 6ft nuts-and-bolts dragon for the balcony.

There is an open air metal work shop at the Dynamo community center in Zurich

The HS Luzern's Design Department has various events:

We have a website, but it is currently still under some construction and is still in need of upgrading in terms of photos and services offered.

I really really loved this place: https://www.museedufer.ch

In fact it is my favorite local museum. They have workers/artists/apprentices there, go have a word with them.

Then in terms of metal sculpting, my favorite artist Kiki Smith works in NYC (https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-klQSbQrQD...e-paris-13.jpg)

Thank you for the links! These groups definitely seem resonate with our aesthetic/workflow.
