working in switzerland with a non EU dental specialist degree

Hi I am an orthodontist qualified from India. Is it possible for me to work in my field under a registered Swiss orthodontist? or is it possible to work as a dental assistant in any of the dental practices ? My husband is employed in Geneva.

Welcome to the forum.

I would also suggest contacting MEBEKO who can point you in the right direction.

Re: working in switzerland with a non EU dental specialist degree

Thank you so much.. I did contact MEBEKO and my understanding was that I have to study at a university and then do the exam for my concerned field to work as an orthodontist. That is simply not feasible for me. That's why I wanted to know if there is anyway of being in the filed of orthodontics working as an orthodontist
but not called or known as an orthodontist -for instance as an "intern"and practising my trade?
